"Rhythm of the Dead" is a challenging rhythm-shooter made for the 2020 Mix and Game Jam. Slay the undead to the beat of the music as you explore in order to survive the night!
Controls:
WASD or Arrow Keys - Move
Left Mouse/Space - Attack + Hit Note
Escape - Pause Menu

Known Questions: Many players have had questions about enemy spawns, and that enemies stop spawning. Enemy spawn locations have spawn limits to discourage players from camping/not exploring the full level. If you're struggling with enemy spawns, try exploring the level a bit more!

i would love to see more rhythm rogue likes after playing this game-- its aesthetic and intuitive, and the references to zombie media made me smile
okay, got here from another one of Ralph's games but this is really really so good and play make more of it. There's something so cool when you get into a rhythm (literally) and don't have to look at the interface - kinda like closing your eyes while playing guitar. Really cool experience, great aesthetic and music especially, hope to see more!

Really well done! Only real issue being that the zombies stop spawning during the "kill more zombies" phase, but this is a really well-made gamejam game. Love the music, love the art, love the twin-stick rhythm game concept!
